Learning outcomes
The course is designed to build on language skills acquired within the course and dedicated to their further development. At the end of the two semesters four basic language skills are developed: reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking skills. The final level of communicative comptetence at the end of the course should be A2+.
Students are able to make themselves understood both in spoken language and in writing and in everyday situations. They are able to describe their needs and their surroundings and can write simple texts about things they are familiar with, and give reasons for their opinions.
Prerequisites
Communicative competence: CEFR A1 in general Russian. Meeting the requirements of the EKR3P course in all 4 skills in ESP.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Exam: 4 parts. Reading comprehension, cloze test, writing (business letter, e-mail etc.), listening comprehension. Pass: min 60% from each of the parts.
