Course content
Economy of the Russian Federation. Enterprising in the RF. Exhibitions, Trade Fairs. Ways of Payment. Insurance. Taxes.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The course objective is further enhancement of language skills acquired within the EKR1 and EKR2 courses and also fostering students' overall communication competence. The course develops vocabulary for specific purposes, and also practices listening and reading, specially in topics corresponding to their field of study. The final level of communicative competence at the end of the course should be B2.
Students are able to formulate their thoughts relating to their branch of study in writing and speaking. They are able to write detailed texts from a broad variety of topics.
Prerequisites
Communicative competence: CEFR B1 in general Russian. Meeting the requirements of the EKR2 course in all 4 skills in ESP.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Exam: 4 parts. Reading comprehension, cloze test, writing (business letter, e-mail etc.), listening comprehension. Pass: min 60% from each of the parts.
