Course content
Integrated pollution prevention ond control. Circulation of materials in nature. Toxicology of basic inorganic chemicals. Environmental management. Reducing emissions of CO2, NOx, SO2. Environmental aspects of the production of inorganic compounds. Water treatment. Waste water treatment. Energy source of the chemical industry.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is knowledge of impact of inorganic compounds technologies and energy industries on environment. Students are introduced to basic techniques to reduce emissios of wastes and with basic legislation.
Students are able to describe techniques of reducing waste emissions from the chemical industry. The current situations with regard to IPPC.

Oral examination, Written examination
