Recapitulation CCNA1 (OSI model, TCP / IP, LAN). WAN standards WAN, WAN technologies. The role of routers in connecting LANs. Technical solution routers, memory, RAM, NVRAM, ROM and FLASH. Console port, works with the terminal emulator. IOS operating system, user interface, CLI, a user logs in the user and privileged mode, user support, context help, history, editing the command line. Training work with the router on the emulator. Configurable features and functions, backup and working configuration file, identifying the current setup, manage configuration files, password management, identification routers, hostname, banner. Initial configuration with the setup. Upgrading IOS from flash memory, ROM or from TFTP server, IOS backup, backup configuration, automatic initialization of the router from the TFTP server. Configuration register, restoring the loss of access passwords. Remote telnet connection to the router, router control via web interface. Configuration and monitoring functions of the interface mixer. Description of the network services connection and without connection, characteristic of the main differences between them, the principle of flow control and characterization of three basic methods used in networks. Characteristics of the transport layer protocols TCP / IP, ICMP characteristics. Problems which face the router to change the network topology, static and dynamic routing, routing protocols, static and dynamic routing. Types of routing protocols, distance-vector and link-state protocols, hybrid routing, autonomous systems. Activation routing protocols RIP and EIGRP, verify functionality of the network routing tables, monitoring functions for router operation. Protocol CDP, Design and implementation of WAN with routers, locating and troubleshooting.

Advanced course based on Cisco Networking Academy CCNA2 curricula. An emphasis will be placed on the routing and Cisco router configuration. Students have an opportunity to gain the advanced skills in the CNA lab. To continue in Computer Networks III-IV, students should successfully pass the CCNA2 class.
Students gain both the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field, allowing to hold the corresponding function (network administration, network installation). You also get the necessary language skills, enabling further training in the field without language barriers.

Given assignment confirms that a student attended lessons to the extent required and fulfilled qualified requirements. Conditions for credit are: active work at labs, min. 80% presence, passing the CNA (Cisco Networking Academy) CCNA2 class. Form, contents and length of the exam are determined in accordance with Study and Examining Rules of University of Pardubice. The exam consists of two parts, a written test and a theoretical exam. Student passes successfully the written test as well as the theoretical part of the exam if he/she obtains at minimum 50% of possible points in each part.
