Course content
The development of spelling. A comma in a sentence. Predicate and subject. Words in written language. Abbreviations and symbols. Capital letters. Double consonants. Prepositions and prefixes s and z. Groups of consonants. Length of vowels.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the seminar is to complete knowledges about the current standard czech language. Students are able to use Czech spelling rules, verify the spelling phenomena, justify them on theoretical basis.
Orientation in spelling handbooks, practical skills in working with them.
