Course content
The lectures will be focused on quantification of various accident types' consequences starting with outflow and evaporation of dangerous substance, then its dispersion in the atmosphere, explosion and fire. Prevention of that accidents and mitigation of their consequences will be also incorporated. Students will meet some software codes which are used for consequence analysis. Students will learn how to operate those codes using case studies.

Learning outcomes
The course has to show the basic of consequence analysis to the students. The students have to also learn to assess the potential consequences of industrial accidents together with the analysis of real accident consequences to find the probable cause of the accident and the source term.
