Course content
Basic concepts of robotics. Robotic applications - possibilities and use. Robotic rover - possibilities and uses. Movement in an unfamiliar environment. Moving forward. Behaviour at the interruption. The basic physical processes in robotics. Using of advanced sensors. iOS (Android) mobile platform integration with robotics sets.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities, Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
Students will be acquaint with the basic functions of robotics kits and their programming. Students will work with basic robotics kits and they will make programmes of selected tasks within the area of robot movements. Programming will be done in the Visual Basic.NET.
Students will be acquainted with programmable robotic kits. Students will learn the basic functions of the robotic rover in the first part of the course. Students will be able to program the commands associated with the movement of the robotic rover. Students will have the opportunity to program complex applications robotic kits in the second part of the course.
Basic skills in PC, basic principles of programming in .NET.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Systematic monitoring, Self project defence

Assignment: successful elaboration of given tasks (provided in Stag). Student will elaborate semester project on practical using of robotics kit.
